It’s not often you come across a brand/company, where the people behind it are so devoted, with a pure intent and believe that they truly, through their creativity, can make a change in society and strengthen the spirit of people. And it’s not a coincidence that there are women in the frontline of this project! I shared one of my stories. As a child, I never knew how to really love myself other than when I felt capable and adaptable. As an adult I later understood that this is a very complex and difficult thing for parents, grown ups and society to instill in a young person growing up. We live in a world where we promote and laude success and wealth. This generates a deeply rooted illusion that the ingredients of real happiness and freedom comes from gaining something outside of ourselves. So we search and search for meaning, purpose and importantly even love, in all the wrong places. To be continued.. Very often as a young girl I had the feeling of being inadequate and incomplete. I was looking for validation outside of myself by adapting, changing, and compromising. Until THAT pain of not living truthfully was unbearable. That pain thankfully reminded me of my responsibility to teach myself how beautiful and enough I am, inside/out. How unique and worthy I am of any dream, of any life, of anything. How my body tells the story of me and how precious, valuable and loveable every inch of it is. It’s up to us to change our mindset. Constructively I started to give myself that attention and that love. Through making decisions that were true to me and my believes. Through always speaking well about myself and to forgive myself. Never allowing anyone to diminish me under any circumstances. To respect and nurture my body by giving it what it needs to be healthy both spiritually and physically.
