Poppy was 6 months old when the mandatory lockdown began. She’s now spent over half of her life in quarantine, which means I’ve spent half of my experience parenting, in quarantine. It’s felt lonely at times, especially when we’ve been going through a sleep regression. Not only the lack of sleep in general, but figuring out how to teach & help her through this has been exhausting. When the sleep regression started, I turned to the @peanut app to see how other moms coped with it. The support and advice I received was amazing. SO many moms got in touch to share their experiences of sleep regression, answer questions, and offer advice on how to help myself stay in a good place mentally through all of this. Being a first time mom through this unprecedented global pandemic hasn't been easy, but connection and advice from other women has really helped.
