這兩天測試了iPhone 12 Pro的錄影發現了一個有趣的現象想跟大家分享一下：新的HDR錄影功能拍出來的4K畫面真的超級漂亮（不愧是杜比視界），但是如果上傳HDR的影片到Instagram影片的亮度會爆掉，我猜是因為Instagram尚未支援4K和HDR，目前影片只有支援到1080p。我分別拍了開啟HDR的4K和1080p的影片和關閉HDR的4K和1080p的影片，目前的結論是：如果要拍攝上傳到IG的影片的話，記得把HDR關掉然後設定1080p就夠了；如果是上傳到YouTube或是其他有支援4K HDR的平台再開啟這個功能。

After testing the video recording on my iPhone 12 Pro for the past couple of days, I’ve discovered something interesting and would like to share with you guys. The new 4K HDR videos look absolutely mindblowing (kudos to DOLBY VISION), however, when I uploaded these HDR videos to Instagram the brightness gets out of control. My guess is because Instagram is not yet supporting 4K and HDR, it currently supports up to 1080p. I’ve taken 4K and 1080p videos with HDR on and also with HDR off. Here’s my current conclusion: If you’re shooting videos for Instagram, remember to turn off HDR, and setting it to 1080p should be enough; you can turn it on if you’re shooting contents for YouTube or other platforms that support 4K HDR.
