Effective 10 September 2020, all tourists and travelers entering the Maldives for a short-term stay must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be conducted within 96 hours of departure. You will also need to complete another PCR test only if you have entered another country on your way to Maldives, not for quick transits. . You will need to Complete a health self-declaration form within 24 hours of your flight and present the health declaration form completion code/QR code at the airport. Within two days of arrival or two days of departing to another island (hotel) you will be required to see the hotel doctor to check your current health and symptoms to make sure you are healthy and not feeling any early signs of Covid.
