I’ve always been fascinated by Dia De Los Muertos, and I have so much love for the Mexican culture as there are so many similarities to ours! Being a spiritual person myself, I love the entire meaning behind this Mexican holiday which honors and celebrates dead ancestors and helps them on their spiritual journey. The sugar skull is a staple part of this celebration, and several of these are typically placed around the altars where the ancestors are honored.
I knew one day I would want to create my own version of a sugar skull and create a beautiful blend of my Indian culture 🇮🇳 and the Mexican culture 🇲🇽 . Presenting: #DESIDeLosMuertos, the Indian-Inspired Henna Sugar Skull 💀🥀
