Ishikawa, a Japanese photographer, also referred as a traveling artist as he boldly challenges to travel to places where there is a high risk of physical and mental stress to shoot his photographs, shoots with film, and is known for taking pictures of the relationship between nature and human beings and the ethnic culture that lives in the area from a unique perspective. The exhibition features works focused on the regional characteristics of the Japanese archipelago and express the unique and diverse landscapes and cultures of each land from the perspective of the islands and the sea, inviting visitors into unknown Japan. The exhibited works are printed directly from negative film onto photographic paper without being digitized, highlighting the original colors of the photographs. The audio guidance that introduces the text written by Ishikawa allows visitors to feel more familiar with the artist's work production process and the situation making it easier for them to facilitate emotional transfer to the works and embrace the feelings for the land.
