We quickly discovered our combined passions for voting and having our voices heard (despite us all being under 18!) Because of this, we chose to create EZVote, an app that educates voters on which candidate their beliefs align best with! But first, meet the team: Meet @lexiszaf: Hi everyone! I’m Lexi Szafranski, a high school senior from Miami, FL. This past summer was my second year at Kode With Klossy, and truly changed my life. Not only did I discover the area of study I wanted to pursue, but I also have met so many amazing people. Meet @shruti_patell: Hey y’all! I’m Shruti. I'm currently a senior from Austin, TX. I had the amazing opportunity of doing Kode With Klossy this summer and met so many empowering people. I am extremely interested and passionate about computer science and its impact on real-world problems, like medical decision-making, politics, and climate change. Kode With Klossy has allowed me to explore this passion alongside an amazing group of girls. Meet Lily: Hello! My name is Lily. I am a high school senior in Dallas, TX and I was a Kode with Klossy scholar this past summer! Meet @giauyentrann: My name is Uyen, I’m 16 and I attended Kode With Klossy's first virtual camp in 2020! 👩🏻💻 With our newly acquired coding superpowers, we've continued working on our app and officially launched @ezvote this past month! Our mission is to not just encourage people to vote, but rather to make an educated vote. 📱All of us were fairly new to app design before camp, but now we all feel confident in our abilities and see endless possibilities in where EZVote can take us.
