The exhibition dedicated to Henri Matisse has finally opened at the @CentrePompidou, celebrating the 150th anniversary of his birth by telling his story. The biggest of its type since 1970, 230 works of art and 70 documents recount the artist’s life and career, tracing his artistic parcours through to his liberation of lines and color, through 9 chapters in an exhibition aptly named ‘Matisse, like a novel’.
