Why vote EARLY and IN-PERSON with FRIENDS?!
1. If you vote EARLY, you can go with friends who can’t go to your same polling place on Nov 3rd.
2. In the 2020 primaries, over 550,000 mail-in ballots (23K+ in WI alone) were disqualified for reasons like using the incorrect number of envelopes or not signing in the right place. There is also a legal battle expected, to get mail-in ballots disqualified.
3. If you run into an issue like you’re mysteriously not on the voter rolls (it’s happened to me), you have time to resolve the issue & come back & vote. On Nov 3rd you’d have to accept a provisional ballot which may never be counted (ever).
4. A #votedate makes voting way more fun & holds you accountable.
5. Going to vote with a group of friends provides built-in protection from voter intimidation.
6. A #votedate means you have friends to hold your place in line when you have to go to Starbucks to pee. …Or make a taco run!
