I often don't have the answers - it really is trial and error, especially with your first child! India never struggles with eating generally but trying to get her to eat the right things has been difficult. As you can see from this old pic, she LOVES sweeties, but now she's older I want her to understand the importance of veggies and certain protein, which she regularly refuses! This has been a struggle, especially over lockdown, and I'm not the type of mum to be forceful when India refuses food. I turned to the @peanut app to ask what other mums have done in this situation. One woman told me about a star system which has worked amazingly for us! Giving India stars for the fruit and veg she eats has made her feel so much more rewarded and really excites her. She feels like she's been a good girl when she's finished her dreaded broccoli!!!! I genuinely love @peanut and the community on the app. There are many things I can ask my mum but being able to get tips from other women nearby has been amazing.
