The BOWIE KOOKS rose to the occasion and also listed things that are extra hard to find these days that they’d like to see reproduced in the Bowie Store. We've illustrated this item with a 4-page memorabilia leaflet (complete with misspelling of memorabilia...sorry Mr O), from the official David Bowie Fan Club in 1976. The items available to order may not have seemed like an investment with particularly good returns at the time, but who was thinking about that when buying a T-shirt in 1976? We've highlighted the solid brass and enamel belt buckle, priced at $5 for one or $9 for two at the time. Though one of these same buckles recently sold on a popular auction site for $65, it was a very lucky purchase. You'd normally be lucky to pick one up for double that.
