Happiness on a plate: Had such a good haul from @rex.goldsmith this weekend. Langoustines followed by spaghetti with clams on Friday, and kept the shells from the langoustines and made stock with them. Used that stock to make a little risotto today to eat alongside a piece of halibut, toasted simply with lemon zest, olive oil, Maldon salt and thyme - and some cavolo nero with anchovies and garlic (with some toasted pine nuts sprinkled on top). I worried that anchovies would make the greens too strong to go with the langoustine risotto but I was craving them. And in fact, it all worked perfectly. No recipe, just pleasurable freestyling.
