I know you are scared and insecure of what is to come in the future but don’t be. Not everything will go your way and trust me it’s not the end of the world, life WILL go on. If you’re ever stuck, just think “Will this be an issue 5 years from now? Probably not.” So don’t sweat the small stuff and look at life through the lenses of endless positivity. I can’t emphasize this enough. Put yourself first and embrace every insecurity you have. You ARE beautiful, regardless of the skin tone you have! Every insecurity and difference you aspire to change, is what makes you unique and different. Don’t let anybody change you or tell you otherwise...not even those aunties who profess they know best. Love yourself in your own skin because I assure you, one day, the skin you walk in, is going to be your most favored feature, so OWN it. All the time you put into studying and making sure everything’s perfect, is something you’ll be proud of, however don’t let yourself get overpowered by things that you know won’t make you happy.
