ウィングスアンドホーンズさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ウィングスアンドホーンズInstagram)「The Makers · Andrew Dadson⠀ ⠀ The process around how and why we make things defines us. As we take time to rest and reflect, we want to share the stories of friends, collaborators and team members who emulate these values.⠀ ⠀ We revisit the work of Andrew Dadson, an artist we collaborated with in 2017 to produce a showroom installation titled, Black Plants. Part of a larger series, the piece explores Dadson's ongoing curiosity with abstracting the concept of time and space via different mediums.⠀ ⠀ Treating the physical world as his canvas, he paints over natural forms such as houseplants or outdoor landscapes, with organic biodegradable coatings, to figuratively frame a moment in their existence. As they grow and return to their natural state, the layer of paint cracks, sheds, and exposes a reversal of the original artwork. ⠀ To Dadson, this process reflects our human effect on the landscape, the tension between how we rearrange and displace nature, and our underlying responsibility to the world we inhabit. As a microcosm of our relation to nature's cycle, his works revolve around the states of change and how we engage with what is constantly in flux.⠀ ⠀ #wingsandhorns #themakers」10月16日 23時51分 - wingsandhorns
