In honor of #nationalilovelucyday May I suggest the funny and fascinating biography of Jess Oppenheimer, creator of I Love Lucy. It was written by his son Gregg. Jess’ secretary, Mercedes, was my neighbor for many years in Hollywood so it’s fun to see her play a role in the I Love Lucy history.
