His ‘Peace King’ line on track #11 titled 10 points touched a lot of people who are connected to my work. . On 10 points.. @nas states “I started saying PEACE KING on my song the flyest, and after that it took off like fire. Peace King" Of course that line is significant for me. That song of reference has been with me since I was 15 years old, but beyond that 1 line, that album is full of jewels. . As of right now, I am moved deeply by the song and visual for Ultra Black. . I love the way I feel when I see us. represented this way. I love our stories..and I love the lyrics.. . Ultra Black, to me, means using every tool and resource in my reach to aid in the liberation and increased life chances for Black People, Globally....Especially, Black People in the margins...and more specifically Black Youth in the margins. . After watching the debate last night and hearing what both candidates had to say.. and after all the Sen. Harris / Phylicia Rashad memes... and after the the Pence/ fly memes... I felt like the eyes were taken off of our young people in need because the political circus was in town. But the truth is, the youngin's ‘round my way and ‘round y'all way don't give two shits about the debate or the memes. . They want opportunities and spaces that affirm their value when the world around them tells them different. So we must deliver. . I want to do some Krowning Ceremonies for young people in the communities that need it most. . 1st Stop. Sacramento. I don't know how to exactly pull off a covid- adhering crowning ceremony but I know it's possible. I've seen a few graduations and concerts that were able to do it successfully, so I know that we can do it for the youth. . My city I can take care of home and @__mr.p and DC can take care of D.C. However, there is a nation in Need beyond Sac, Oakland, and D.C. .
