Scheduling in self-care and time to be with our thoughts is essential. Sometimes/a lot of times it’s not easy, so if it’s too much to handle on your own please reach out to a friend or professional, people want to help! And it’s never hopeless, there are ALWAYS tools to help you get up and out. (You can call 1-800-662-HELP to get connected to services in your area)  One of my biggest focuses atm is to practice optimism. We all have the choice to view things through a negative or a positive frame, and your brain wants to find the threat or risk in all situations and keep you in a fight or flight mode (for you know, survival purposes 🙄). So most of the time it’s much harder to focus on the positive and what can go right instead of wrong, but it is SO worth the fight. So here’s to us choosing to hold on to hope and look towards the future and engulf our experiences in optimism!
