And if I were working with bald skies the entire time, then my response would be totally different from, ‘It was easy!’ With no two skies nor light the same, each day was so different it was always new though the subject was, a lighthouse. I ended up going to the Portland Head Light four times and of those times, this was my favorite shot. The #nikonZ7 / #nikkorZ24-200 was opened for 13 minutes for this shot as the sun was thinking of peaking over the horizon. I timed the opening of the shutter so it would close a minute before the sun would actually light the lighthouse. While the tide was out, the clouds make up for lack of movement in the foreground.
