Across their 26 cancer centres, Maggie’s provide free practical and emotional support for people with cancer, as well as family and friends. Through the pandemic, @maggiescentres have continued to support their visitors over the phone, email and through its online community. 📱 These methods have helped people over 60,000 times during lockdown. In a message to Maggie’s earlier this year, The Duchess said: “It is hard to imagine how the difficulties of living with cancer are compounded by the current situation, but I am sure that you are all rising to the challenge with your usual grace, determination and good humour.” During the visit, Her Royal Highness also visited the roof garden at Maggie’s Barts, which was designed by Darren Hawkes.
