In June 2020 a black man named Jonathan Price wrote this defense of the police on Facebook.
In October 2020 Wolfe City Texas a white police officer shot and killed Jonathan Price. He had no weapon. His hands were raised. He was attempting to break up a fight at a gas station. This is the second time in months that we've heard about a black man being shot by police while trying to break up a fight, something we as a society actually pay police to do with tax dollars. Jacob Blake survived but lost his legs. Jonathan Price did not make it. Respectability will never stop a cop from killing me. This is why we say #DEFUNDTHEPOLICE
