Before having her I wasn’t worried either way. But I think after not having the natural birth I wanted - #breastfeeding became so much more important to me , I was so relieved that my body had allowed it to happen easily for us ❤️ ... skip a few months where there are many things I wish had done differently 🤪My girl wouldn’t latch. And pumping was no longer working for me. I gave her formula but I felt very , very upset by it for several months. So I eventually tried to #relactate hoping that I could get back what we had lost. My supply went up again , but my determined little bugger was not having any of it. Once again , it was either pumping or formula ...But at this stage , I was NOT enjoying pumping at all anymore ..especially when I KNEW I couldn’t get back what we had before ☀️ I made a discovery thet helped me so much , a small British company called @kendamiluk ...they had decided to do what NO other formula does and mimic the contents of breastmilk by using WHOLE CREAM milk (breast milk is 50% lactose and all other formulas use skimmed), no fish oils (so it's veggie friendly) and no palm oils (seriously, read the ingredients of your formula girls - it's actually horrible !!) giving her this helped me so so much because I felt like it was a loving thing to give her , something made with thought and love , that was close to home - being the only #formula made in the UK 🇬🇧 Here is Demz & I in their factory in Kendal , England. You can literally see the cows outside ! They are genuinely trying to do better by the mothers/parents and their babies by using the highest quality ingredients... that for me is so important.
