One of the most powerful and informative films I’ve ever seen, Maxima has stayed with me from the moment I heard her story. I’ll be sharing more in the coming days leading up to a special screening and live Q&A I’m hosting with brilliant filmmaker @littlesparrowfilms and fellow earth activist @natkelley for an open discussion on how to address these destructive industries that silently destroy our planet while keeping the door open for positive change and restructuring. You see, her story is actually OUR story. There is no “you” or “them” when it comes to human rights and environmental rights. It’s for all of us to address collectively, because in the end, it will affect all of us. Maxima is an inspiration for women everywhere.
