Despite a common perception of the “influencer” as outgoing, self-obsessed, possibly unrelatable, Kemio proved this wrong. He’s introverted, likes to stick close to home in whatever ways possible— we saw that Social Media, once again, does not always dictate the personality of the face on our screens, rather, it is a reflection of their persona. Here we’ve rendered the K-pop fan as Pinnoccio, a character brought to us originally by the Italian author Carlo Collodi back in the 1880’s, and later famously inspired a Walt Disney film.
