Change is inevitable... and yet it is the space most of my fears are triggered. Today I am reminded when the doubt or anxiety comes up I must face it with gratitude and a mindset of how it is working in my favor. This is NOT easy for me at all... Life conditioned me to seek out the places where the unknown would fail and hurt me. Then in my anticipation for the worst I would prepare for a fight, boarding up the windows, or run away, reject it/them before they could me. Today I fight my instincts and choose to stay and lean in... even in the scary face of uncertainty. I see how my old ways don’t serve me. I must sit as the leaves fall around me and not start to mourn what hasn’t happened but be present for the shift, to see beauty, to WELCOME IT and allow my heart to believe it is preparing me for something better.
