Being able to write my thesis on the jurisprudence of the International Criminal Court and sexual violence in armed conflict in international law, and being able to immerse myself in what I’m most passionate about ~ defending and promoting human rights, especially women’s rights, and the rights of survivors of sexual violence in armed conflict ~ was one of the great privileges of my life.
