I have to admit, for myself, too many times to count. The system is made up that way though. Once you know that, you can’t unsee it. I hope, in this crazy time, you are doing something as an outlet for the rage/sadness that comes with feeling that power over your own existence is out of your control. It is so deeply necessary. Whatever it is for you, you must do it. Finding writing for me has definitely been a way of helping relieve that feeling. Once you start writing your OWN journey, the opinions, the judgment, the naysayers words seem to matter less. The first film I’m producing through my new company, @arebelliousact is something I’ve been writing for years and years and years. Years to give myself permission, then years of doubt, then years to finish. I can’t tell you how amazing it feels to be finished and deeply proud of it. It’s a feeling no one can take away.
