In the October issue of Vogue Italia, Matthias Harder, director of the @HelmutNewtonFoundation, leads us into the photographer’s vibrant and complex universe, retracing the key episodes of his private and professional life - from his early years to the most experimental and avant-garde phases of his career, via “apparently” impossible missions and outstanding achievements.
Tomorrow on Vogue Italia’s Instagram at 6PM CEST, Mr Harder will take us to a virtual tour of the Helmut Newton Foundation and before that, our Brand Visual Director @AlessiaGlaviano will introduce the topic.
Decades after their publication, Newton’s portraits of strong, rich and emancipated women in stilettos, steeped in eroticism and obsessions, still continue to amaze, polarise and enchant, resonating with the most disparate generations of viewers.
