But perhaps less obvious is what that means for our crew & team who organise & create the shows you have hopefully all enjoyed over the last 10 years. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Most of these people are self-employed & haven’t been able to earn a penny over the last 6 months doing what they do best. They are highly skilled, highly specialised & talented individuals who we have the highest respect for. It breaks our hearts to see them all having to take up far less specialised work, or worse, have no work to turn to at all. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ You may assume that the government bail out money for the arts a few months back will be for these kind of people. Sadly, that is not the case.
