#MyFirstTime volunteering was knocking on doors in Nevada for the Obama campaign in 2008. Being a Canadian citizen I was unable to vote - but being on my way to naturalization, I wanted to help and participate in the election. 

Since then, @トローヤン・ベリサリオ and I have continued to try to do the work, in whatever way we can. This photo was from another energizing day just two years ago, when we were under-slept but overjoyed new parents, out canvassing in Orange County for a local candidate we believe in. We volunteer because we care about this country and our daughter’s future in it.
