This is nothing new and it’s been a problem but to be honest I didn’t pay too much attention to it when I was busy and I used to go for more ‘convenient’ than ‘good for the earth’. This year I realized how much we are using single-use plastics daily, and I decided to be more sustainable especially after I found out only 8% of plastics get recycled. 😩 It all starts with small changes and small changes can make big difference!!!!🌱I know it’s hard to change everything at once, so I started from my kitchen and bathroom. I’ll share the stores and the products I’ve switched so far and hopefully this can inspire someone to realize that those are easy changes! 💚 Also if anyone has recommendations on stores or any products that are eco friendly, please let me know! 🌍♻️ Body lotion, hand soap, laundry detergent , dishwasher gel and SO MUCH MORE, you can get those on refill from @sustain_la in your own container. Also there is package free grocery store called @taregrocery and I got my oils, maple syrup refilled. (They have so much stuff you can get refilled.) ♥️ I got rid of my sponge and dish soap and replaced them to a dish brush and vegan dish block @notoxlife . I got tablet toothpaste and bamboo toothbrush from @bambooswitch to say goodbye to my plastic toothbrush and toothpaste. I love my bamboo toilet paper @reelpaper and my mesh bags I got from @earthsider to put vegetables at the grocery store. 🥦🥬🥒🍅 I recently purchased UNPAPER towels and facial rounds to replace paper towels and makeup remover sheet!
