First time DIY gel nails with @leminimacaron👀
I was always really hesitant to use gel polishes and worried they would damage my nails😩 However, I gave it a shot since so many people have to learn how to do their own nails right now - I figured as a fellow newbie gel user I could provide a real first impression review lol.
This set made the process really easy and straightforward - I just prepped my nails and applied 3 thin coats of Milkshake, curing in between layers, and after the final cure my nails were glossy and completely set (no topcoat needed). Not having to wait for the polish to dry was LIFE CHANGING🙌🏼
The only con was that having to cure one nail at a time was a little tedious, but @leminimacaron also has larger lights that fit your full hand. This little Macaron light is super cute and really travel friendly though, which is a plus👌🏼
I kept this mani on over a long weekend at the beach and after 4 days they still looked fresh. The polish also soaked off really easily and my nails still looked healthy after removal (when buffing before application go lightly and be gentle!). All in all I highly recommend🤍
