Our deepest sympathies go out to the family, friends and many fans of East Coast powerhouse Keith Hufnagel. Keith’s brand of skateboarding was iconic, with a focus on style and pop that transcended the many trends of the day. But he didn’t stop at just skating. Keith understood the value of community, creating the original Huf Store in San Francisco to bridge the gap between skateboarding and streetwear. Huf morphed into a worldwide brand, first with apparel, then with footwear, sponsoring some of the top skaters in their primes, including Dylan Rieder and more recently, Mason Silva. Essentially, Keith’s dedication to skateboarding touched many in a variety of ways, whether it was watching his video parts, wearing his brand name or searching for a limited edition run of kicks in his shops.

But his influence reached beyond skateboarding. In fact, Keith’s signature Real pro board was featured as a Christmas gift in the 2003 Will Ferrell classic, “Elf.” Rest in peace to a true original.
