But, first, this is me a few weeks ago, casually visiting Tiny covid style!😻😷🙄 #GottaDoWhatYouGottaCovidDo Soooooo: Things were going better since the lockdown was over. Basic rules, social distancing and masks were in place and the government was counting on people's awareness and empathy to apply these and make the virus go away. "People's awareness and empathy" you're laughing already, right?🙄 So summer arrived and everybody was like "Enh let us live, it's the holidays woohoo!!!" not wearing masks, , forgetting social distancing, thinking they were smarter and ooooof course, we are now very near (if not fully in) the second wave!😶 The number of cases have exploded to more than 10000 everyday. 😱 There are 2/3h lines in all places that are doing tests for covid. The results are taking around 4/7 days so some labs were scamming people, asking them 100€ for 24h results.😡 We are starting to lack the basic products to create these tests so it's gonna be fun in a few weeks!😬 The hospitals are alarming everyone that they already don't have enough beds in the ICU. They are thinking to postpone all surgeries to have the ressources to take care of the new daily cases.😮 So the government has decided to shut down all bars ans restaurants in some big cities in the South of France and to make them shut down at 22h (10xx) on the other régions. But we know it's just going to be a question of time before all the country does that anyway... 😓 They are strongly advising us to have limited social interactions inside in family or between friends but with the bars closed i don't think it's going to work... We also should "avoir all dinner party". I swear that is a written rule/strong advice.🤦🏻‍♀️ The Prime Minister started talking about a new lockdown. With the disaster that all this situation is already, i'm not very hopefull for the month to come...
