Liam on his experience shooting these photos: I stood by the edge of the beaver pond, coffee in hand, waiting for the sun to crest the ridge. The air was still and nearly silent but for the babbling creek feeding the pond. As the earth spun and the sun came into view a moose dashed out of the woods and into the scene. She was hiding in the shadows as I composed a few frames of the landscape. Then she wandered into the pond for a drink. I quickly switched lenses and photographed her through the dew drops hanging on autumn colored willows. A twig snapped and she lifted her head to find the source.
