Today is a very special day because my Grandfather (who I call Grampy) was born! He was the most patient, kind, selfless person I have ever met! I could go on and on about him, and trust me I want to, but he was a man of less is more and kept things simple. I miss him every day... his gentle heart and smile could change anyone’s mood at the drop of a hat! We lost him to cancer. It still doesn’t make sense to me and probably never will... so with that I want to express my support for @stjude and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month :)

I give so much credit to those of you who have to fight this battle. It’s a tough battle. And when I see kids giving all they’ve got each day with a smile on their face, it is unbelievable. (You too auntie Carrie;)

I’m not sure if you know this but the families at St. Jude never see a bill for their services and I think that’s incredible... as the main focus for these patients & families should be to get their child healthy :)
