My dear Mum, #JoanAnneCameronMitchell passed today at 1230am MT In Colorado Springs two days before her 87th bday with her loved ones in real and virtual attendance. She was a magnetic powerful charming brave principled woman who left home like a great explorer, met the love of her life in a new nation, encountered Kings, Presidents and Popes but also could ease into working class Glaswegian wifeyspeak and silence ur “whinin’ and greetin’” with the refrain: “ I never saw a banana till I was 12!” Thank u to all of you who helped with her care thru concerts and merch and fundraisers thru the years esp @vincetaj @wjgridley and #TommyKriegsmann.
