I noticed this view as we were driving by, and made my husband quickly pull over so that I could run back and capture it while he waited in the car with our napping infant. (Don't worry, I swapped with him on baby duty so that he could also run back and admire the beauty!) What caught me off guard about this particular moment, on this particular day, was the light. The sky was a mix of clouds and sun, constantly changing how the light hit the landscape. During this fortuitous morning, there was no one out here but me. It felt almost like a "secret" to be witnessing this soft light with these lovely fall colors. Completely unplanned and totally inspiring. It almost looked like a painting instead of real life.
