Carine and I spent much of the 90s together. We were a team along with hairdresser Marc Lopez and makeup artist Tom Pecheux. We went to the same studio almost everyday to try and work out how to get our pictures to look better every time. The studio was not big, it was very cold in the winter and unbearably hot in the summer. We always took risks with new models, so much of the time we were training them to convey what we wanted. I can say that there were many evenings where we would leave the studio not talking to each other. In our search for greater pictures frustration would sometimes build up. But most of the time we were laughing. We spent years enjoying what we did together. Carine’s ideas were always great and unpredictable. She taught me a lot. I think we all helped each other grow. I cherish those years. Happy birthday Carine ❤️

Carine y yo pasamos gran parte de los 90s juntos. Formamos un equipo junto con el peluquero Marc Lopez y el maquillador Tom Pecheux. Íbamos al mismo estudio casi todos los días para tratar que nuestras fotografías se vieran mejor cada vez. El estudio no era grande, hacía mucho frío en invierno y un calor insoportable en verano. Siempre tomamos riesgos con nuevas modelos, por lo que gran parte del tiempo estábamos enseñándoles cómo transmitir lo que queríamos. Puedo decir que hubo muchas noches en las que salíamos del estudio sin hablarnos. En nuestra búsqueda de imágenes más grandes, a veces se acumulaba la frustración. Pero la mayor parte del tiempo nos reíamos. Pasamos años disfrutando de lo que hacíamos juntos. Las ideas de Carine siempre fueron geniales e impredecibles. Ella me enseñó mucho. Creo que todos nos ayudamos a crecer. Aprecio mucho aquellos años. Feliz cumpleaños Carine ❤️
