1. In 2019, and during the Women's Football World Cup, players of the @USWNT used their voices to let the world know that pay inequality exists and made it very clear that they would not tolerate it.⠀

5. Fanny Blankers-Koen: Before her, women were normally made to believe they could no longer compete at a high sporting level after having children, she was called 'too old to make the grade' but the 30-year-old mother of two dominated the 1948 Olympics, winning four golds. ⠀
6. Norway was the first country to announce that their women's national football team players would earn the same as the men.⠀
