I don't know how anyone else is finding it or found it. At the beginning I felt like it was all frumpy bras (probably needed them as my boobs were in AGONY) and flowery dresses and sandals.... Not that there's anything wrong with a floral dress, but you know, I just still wanted to feel like me. A lot of the maternity brands I came across just didn't feel like me at all. Funnily enough, that was one of the things I freaked out about the most when I first found out I was pregnant... I was like, "but I'm not ready to give up my life", and Tommy said: "but why do you have to?" There's this outdated view that life stops when you have babies, but I have friends with babies who are testament to the fact you don't have to, and if anything you're better parents for having your life, interests and independence. Did anyone worry about this?✨🤸🏼‍♀️ But anyway, this is definitely my favourite 'non-maternity' outfit so far. I've realised that we don't have to just wear maternity clothes. This dress is just up from my normal size and I love it because it ties at the waist - having big boobs, I've always liked things that show off my waist anyway, so it's great even if you're not pregnant (I'm trying to get things that will work post-pregnancy). I bought these boots from Topshop a couple of years ago and just love them so it's always nice to find things to wear them with. I also LOVE a red lip with pink, plus it's the best way to disguise tired eyes.
