ULTA Beautyさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ULTA BeautyInstagram)「For #LatinxHeritageMonth, we asked 5 Latinx artists to share their interpretation of the month. Here's what @chantelsanchez_ came up with: "What is the most beautiful part of your Latinx culture? What makes you proud to be Latinx? What is something about your culture you wish people understood? These are the questions I contemplated while working on this illustration. Latinx people are beautiful because of their diversity. We tend to get lumped into being Mexican as the default. Latinx people are from many different countries, each with distinct food, culture, and language. I wish people understood that Latinx people are Black, Asian, White, Indigenous, etc. We don't all look the same but that is beautiful. We are all different but united. For my illustration, I was inspired by traditional Mexican embroidery that is full of colorful floral patterns. I drew different flowers to symbolize the diversity in the Latinx culture. I also decided to hand letter the phrase in Spanish and English because that is a significant part of my culture having grown up bilingual."」9月18日 1時14分 - ultabeauty
