On September 25th my closest friend @thejaybray will be live streaming her solo show “Matter is Mother,” a piece that I’ve seen her hone over the past few years. In her words, Matter is Mother is “about the intersection of the climate crisis, patriarchy, capitalism and the magic of femmes,” so this performance couldn’t be more timely. Julia is a brilliant artist and while I wish we could all experience this show in person, the live stream will make this important work accessible to far more people.
