クリス・バーカードさんのインスタグラム写真 - (クリス・バーカードInstagram)「I remember this session almost didn’t happen. I didn’t take much , but a little coercion was needed. The Volcano convincing me mostly. It was our longest day out yet and the temps were dropping fast into the sunset hour. We knew one more session after a marathon surf would result in a windy, dark and cold ride home on a sketchy track that often got us stuck. The guys were sun & wind beaten and ready to head back. As soon as we came around the corner I could see the clouds beginning to part around the volcano and decided to give it one more check. I knew the moment the rim started to show I was staying there till dark even if to shoot empty waves. Luckily the crew was an enticed as I was and the daunting task of getting into a wet 6mm wetsuit began. Tired limbs & beat red faces moved through the surf like molasses for this final hour of sunset. All our necks felt the strain from staring up at the volcano. . I shot this on an unconventional lens. I was using the 100-400 where I would have normally used the 70-200 ... but I realized that extra compression was just what It needed. This is my favorite image that published in the recent @surfersjournal of the trip. @parkercoffin @roark @benweiland @natezoller @harrisonsan @_ryanhill_」9月15日 1時09分 - chrisburkard
