We checked in with our friend Mickey Boardman (@askmrmickey) Editorial Director at Paper Magazine (@paper) for some insight on the state of NYFW in 2020. “Fashion Week is normally a crazy busy time, filled with shows, presentations, parties and traveling. Naturally this time has been difficult due to COVID, but the industry is persevering. Almost all collections will be viewed virtually (although so far I’m going to two in-person, socially-distant shows), but putting aside the new format this fashion week, there’s still a lot to look forward to. It’s been wonderful to see all the creativity that’s surfaced as designers have figured out ways to share their new collections.
