Never get attached to numbers. When the algorithm initially changed, it made it tough to grow on the platform ! It became tough to grow followers easily as it only showed your content to 10% followers and rest depended on it. It made me anxious, made me stick to the app more, work more in the direction I never wanted to go and compare myself with others. But The algorithm keeps Changing and finding new ways to make you stick to the app more. That’s how the social media companies make money. They sell your attention. And they don’t work for your benefit. It’s a business. So I reminded myself about why I came here in the first place! To become famous? To get the highest following? To get validation? No! It was because I wanted a platform to share what I enjoyed. When did it all become about numbers? Ever since then I started focusing more on creating and less n less on numbers. I have been so much at peace ever since then. Create what you stand for and what you love, dont do it for the attention! Don’t give the remote of your emotions into anyone else’s hands! Specially into the hands of the people who sell you as a product to others. But being grateful is important. It keeps you humble, makes your acknowledge all the good in your life and doesn’t let you take things for granted. So this post is about that! I am so grateful to you guys for supporting me, following me, helping me in growing and being there for me! Thank you for everything.
