‘I am very fond of our logo bags. They’re versatile and made to last, like our clothes. The idea originated in the 1980s from an urge to make use of surplus Silesia, a cotton lining used in the construction of our tailored jackets and trousers.
It worked out well and that particular bag - with signature and the Walkers – is still fondly remembered by customers.
That logo changed when we moved to the Wigmore Street shop in 2002 but to celebrate our 50th Anniversary we have produced a special edition of the original bag design.’
