Stretching tip that has helped me: focus your awareness on your mouth & jaw. Relax your lips & mouth area. Notice the difference that you may feel, hopefully you feel more relaxed. Try to move this calm & relaxation through each part of your body. As you stretch, relax your fingers, arms, toes etc, paying attention to where else you may be holding tension. This may help your flexibility too!
