Today a film, presented at the #VeniceFilmFestival, plus this photo shoot for the September Issue of Vogue Italia brings the Rossellini clan together again. This documentary provides a long and spontaneous as well as articulated analysis, shuffling the cards about what we know of the myth: a sort of crescendo that begins with the funeral of grandfather Roberto. “1977 was the last time the family got together,” says Alessandro Rossellini. “Since then I have always been fascinated by the idea of meeting up again. With the film, I wanted somehow to explore and thank my family, which had supported and helped me in difficult times. And in the end the documentary managed to bring us together”.
