Growing up every Memorial Day was the “opening of summer” & every Labor Day was the “closing of summer”. We celebrate by BBQing & swim parties (when we had a pool). So today we whipped out the kiddy pool, & set up the slip in slide on the hill.. perhaps it was for “the kids”.. but Why do they get to have all the fun!? 🤔🤷‍♀️😝 - #OOTD: Swimsuit - @albionfit 🥰 - 💭- Side note: social media is weird because this is only one PART of the day. Later we went to the cemetery, we talked about my dad; I felt numb, I had a breakdown.. I hate a lotttt of things (for no actual reason haha 😆) and I feel my patience just isn’t there because of the frustration of feeling I have no control (over basically anything). So though I may post something “positive”.. loss is an extremely personal and crazy journey. And it’s weird cause I know I can post and do whatever, but there’s this thing (or fear) where i feel if I’m not “showing” the bad then “I’m fine” or it must be all good or visa verse.
