You all probably had that feeling Halloween night back in 2010. Can you believe it’s been 10 long years already? Of course when it’s been so long since one of your favorite shows debuted, you eventually want something new and something fresh. Here in 2020 I think we have that new show. That new show is the Boys. I remember watching season 1 last year and being absolutely blown away by it. I had that same feeling I did when watching the Walking Dead. Seeing A Train run right through Robin was that same moment of shock as when Rick shoots the little girl in slippers in episode one. Now that season 2 has finally premiered I have to say the Boys is fucking diabolical. The Walking Dead broke many boundaries in tv with its violence, but my lord does the Boys push the limits of what they can do. There’s a beautiful scene in episode 3 that you would probably never see in any other tv show. It’s a bloody good time. The cast is extremely lovable whether it’s the geeky Hughie or the very vulgar Billy Butcher, you’re in for a great time. Homelander reminds me of Negan as he’s the one you love to hate, but unlike Negan, Homelander doesn’t have many redeeming qualities at all. The point of this post is that the Boys is fucking awesome and if you have yet to see this shit then get right on it. This is some next level shit right here.
